Karan Mix & Match

We are tucked away in P C Plaza, right across from the Shipra Hotel in Atta. It’s usually pretty crowded around here, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping or coming from the metro. Our shop, Karan Mix & Match, isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, but we’ve got shelves stacked high with all sorts of fabrics and clothes. Honestly, most days start with us just moving boxes around and trying to make some space. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when a few people come in at once. We’ve been here a good while now, so we know the other shopkeepers around the plaza. The hotel across the way is a good landmark because people always get lost trying to find specific shops in Atta. We mostly deal with matching different pieces of clothing, hence the name, I suppose. It’s a lot of work keeping track of what goes with what. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit when it’s raining hard outside, but we just carry on. We don’t have a big website or anything like that. People mostly just walk in because they were passing by or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a regular local business, nothing more, nothing less. We open up in the morning, sweep the front, and see who comes by. It’s a busy life but it keeps us going in this part of town.
