Kalyani Trendz

Running Kalyani Trendz behind Fortis Hospital in Sector 63 is a bit different than being in the main market. It’s a bit more tucked away, so we don’t get as much of that frantic foot traffic. Our unit, PG 25, is where we spend most of our waking hours. The mornings are usually spent checking what came in the day before and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a decent sized space, but it fills up quickly when we get new stock. We have some chairs for people to relax in, and the flooring is just plain tile that we sweep twice a day. You can hear the hum of the city from here, but it’s not too distracting. We usually have a radio playing low in the background to keep things from being too silent. Working here means you see a lot of the same faces every day, mostly people who work in the nearby offices or the hospital staff taking a break. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a place to come and see some nice things without a lot of pressure. Sometimes the internet is slow and we can’t look things up quickly, but people are generally patient. We close up around the same time every evening, and the walk to the parking lot is usually the quietest part of the day. It’s a good, steady rhythm to have.
