Jakson Engineers Limited

Our office is over at A42, Phase 2 Extension in the Hosiery Complex. It is an industrial area, so there is always some kind of noise or something going on nearby. Jakson Engineers Limited has been operating from this same spot for a good while now. We focus on engineering projects, mostly the heavy-duty kind that take a lot of planning. The complex is full of other businesses, but we have our own space carved out. It is not the quietest place to work, but it really suits what we do. We spend a lot of time on the floor looking at machines or sitting at our desks planning out the next steps for a job. The team is a mix of older hands who have seen it all and some newer people just starting out. We do not really go in for the corporate speak you hear in the big cities. We just talk about the jobs and how we are going to finish them. Sometimes the deadlines are very tight, and things can get a bit stressful around the office. But that is just a part of being in the engineering field. We have got a lot of equipment moved in over the years. It is a very practical setup. We are not trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. If the machines are running well and the plans are clear, then we are happy. The Hosiery Complex can be a bit of a maze if you are not used to it. We stay here because it works for us. It is home.
