Down here at C- 152 Hosiery Complex Phase- 2, things stay pretty busy most of the time. Sunlord Apparel Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this unit for a good many years now. If you walk inside, you will hear the constant hum of the machines and see stacks of fabric piled up near the cutting tables. It is an industrial area, so there is always a lot of dust and the sound of trucks loading up outside in the lane. We have a crew that has been with us through thick and thin. They know their jobs well. We focus on getting the garments finished and out the door. It isn't always pretty or organized perfectly, but the work gets done. Some mornings the tea lady comes around and that is when everyone takes a quick breather. The lighting in the back isn't the greatest, but we make it work. We deal with hosiery mainly, so there is a lot of soft cotton around. It gets hot in the summer, especially with all those machines running at once, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. We aren't trying to be some high-fashion boutique. We are just a factory in Phase- 2 trying to keep up with the orders that come in. It is hard work and long hours sometimes, but that is the nature of the apparel business in this part of town.
