India Exports Today

India Exports Today is based over at C-66 in the Hosiery Complex. We are in the Phase-2 Extension part of the area. It’s a place where there is always a lot of movement. You see trucks coming in at all hours of the morning and people loading stuff up. Our unit is just one of many in this big industrial patch. Inside, we have our workspace set up to handle whatever comes our way during the day. It’s mostly just us working through piles of paper and making sure everything is where it should be. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to think about that right now. We are more focused on getting the boxes ready and out the door. The workers around here all know each other. We grab chai from the same stall near the gate. Sometimes it’s dusty because of the construction nearby, so we keep the windows shut when the wind blows. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. We don't really do much besides the work. There aren’t any fancy lunchrooms or anything, just a corner where we sit for ten minutes to eat our tiffins. It’s how things go in the Hosiery Complex. We’ve stayed in this same spot for a good bit now, and we know all the shortcuts to avoid the morning rush.
