Our place is at B-12 in the Hosiery Complex, Phase II Extension. If you see the Indian Petrol Pump, you are very close to our gate. Dimple Creations Pvt. Ltd. is basically a production unit. We have a lot of machines running throughout the day. The hum and the vibration are just things you get used to after working here for a week. We focus on making the items and getting them out the door as fast as we can. It is a bit of a maze inside because of all the rolls of cloth and the heavy cutting tables. We have a small office near the front entrance where we keep the phone and the daily logs. It is often a bit dusty because of the fabric fibers floating in the air, so we have to wipe the desks down every morning. The staff has been with us for a long time. We know each other’s families and we talk about our lives while we work. It is a bit like a small community inside these walls. We do not have a marketing team or people in suits. We just do the work that comes in from our clients. If a machine breaks down, we usually try to fix it ourselves before calling a mechanic. The building is old but it stays dry when it rains. We have painted the walls a few times, but the scuff marks always come back.
