You can find us at Hcl Technologies over at House No 748 in Sec 19 A, Noida. It’s a pretty standard house that we’ve converted into our working space. Being in a residential sector makes it feel a bit different from the usual corporate parks you see around here in 201301. We like the fact that it’s not too loud most of the time. The garden area out front is small, but it’s nice to look at when you need a break from the screen. Inside, we have a few rooms set up with desks and computers. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the wires, but we make it work. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, one of us just hears the bell and goes to see who it is. Working from a house in Noida gives us a bit of a relaxed atmosphere, though we stay busy enough. The electricity goes out occasionally, like it does anywhere, but we have the backup ready. Lunch is usually a shared affair in the small kitchen area. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. We just care about getting the work finished on time. It’s a practical way to run things without all the extra noise of a big headquarters. We’ve been at this Noida house for a long time and know all the neighbors.
