Gautam Das Gupta

My name is Gautam Das Gupta and I work out of my place at A 62A in Gautam Budh Nagar. This neighborhood is a bit quieter than the main markets, which is something I appreciate when I have a lot of work to get through. The office is just a part of the building where I’ve set up a sturdy table and some bookshelves that are starting to sag under the weight of all the manuals and files. It is a simple space with a fan that clicks a little bit when it’s on the highest setting, but it keeps the air moving during those humid afternoons. I usually start my day by checking the mail and seeing what needs my attention first. I don’t have a big team or a receptionist; if you call or knock, it’s usually me who answers. Some days are slow and I spend them organizing my notes, while other days are quite full with people coming in to talk. The trees outside the window provide some nice shade, which helps keep the room from getting too bright in the mornings. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a while, so I know where to get the best snacks and which roads to avoid during the rush hour. It is a very normal, everyday kind of life here at A 62A, and I wouldn't want to change much about it.
