Garment Industry

We are over in Sector-26, at D-74. Noida has a lot of sectors, and this one is pretty active with businesses like ours. We just go by Garment Industry. It’s a plain name for a plain business. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. Inside, it’s mostly racks of clothes and some packing tables. We spend the day boxing things up and checking labels. It can be repetitive, but someone has to do it. The office part is just a couple of chairs and a computer that’s a bit slow. We don’t put up posters or try to look bigger than we are. We're just a small outfit. The workers come in early, and we try to get most of the heavy lifting done before it gets too hot in the afternoon. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just the house number. Most of our visitors are delivery drivers or people we’ve known for years. We don't use corporate jargon here. If something is broken, we say it’s broken and we fix it. It’s a straightforward way to live. Sector-26 is a good place to be, close enough to the main roads but not right in the middle of the worst traffic. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way. The tea stall down the street is our main meeting point when we need to step out for a minute. That's really the whole story of this place.
