Our office is at C-155 in Sector-10. It’s a quiet enough street, tucked away from some of the bigger main roads. G-Cube Webwide Software Pvt. Ltd. is where we spend most of our waking hours, usually staring at screens and typing away. Software work can be a bit boring to explain to people, so we don't really bother. It’s just a lot of code and making sure websites or programs do what they are supposed to do. The office has that typical smell of electronics and old carpet. We have some plants in the corner that someone forgets to water, and the fridge is always full of people’s lunch boxes. We aren’t one of those high-tech startups with slides and free snacks. We’re just a group of developers and support staff who have been working together for a while. Sometimes we stay late when a project is acting up, and those are the nights we end up ordering way too much pizza. The sector has changed quite a bit since we first moved in, with new shops opening up all the time. We know the guy at the corner who sells tea and the security guard who’s been here forever. It’s a comfortable place to work, even if the chairs aren't the most ergonomic. We don't have any big slogans on the wall, just some whiteboards covered in scribbles that only we can understand. It’s just our little corner of the world.
