Fashion Touch is tucked away in Sector 10 at A/103. It’s a quiet enough street, mostly residential with some small businesses like ours sprinkled in. The shop itself is on the ground floor, so it’s easy for people to just wander in when they’re passing by. We keep the front window fairly clear, but inside it’s a different story. There are rolls of fabric and boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling in the back room. We’ve been here for a while and the floorboards have a bit of a creak near the entrance that we never bothered to fix. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most days. We don’t have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. We just do what needs to be done to keep things moving. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we have to scramble to catch up, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. The lighting isn't the best, so we do a lot of our detailed work near the door where the natural light comes in. We don’t spend money on big signs or fancy brochures. We just rely on the fact that we’re here at A/103 every morning when the sun comes up. It’s a steady life. We know the neighbors and we know the delivery drivers by name. Fashion Touch isn't a huge name, but for the people in Sector 10, we’re just part of the furniture and that's okay.
