Dressify

You can find us over at Plot No. 31 in Block-C of Sector-88. It’s one of those newer industrial areas in Noida where things are still being built up. Our setup at Dressify is pretty basic but it works for what we do. We have a good amount of space for our production line and a small area where we keep the finished stock. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just another gate in the row. But once you’re inside, you see the whole process of how clothes are put together. We have people who are really good with their hands, whether it's cutting the fabric or doing the final stitching. There’s always a bit of chaos with threads and buttons everywhere, especially when we’re trying to finish a big shipment. We don't use any big fancy words to describe ourselves. We just show up every morning, check the orders, and start the machines. Sometimes the electricity flickers and we have to wait a bit, or the weather makes the fabric damp, so we have to be careful. It’s a regular job for us. We handle the packing ourselves and make sure the labels are stuck on straight before the truck comes by in the evening. It’s about getting the work done and making sure the clothes look decent enough for the people who buy them. It’s just us doing our daily thing.
