Dress Code

If you look for E-178 in Sector 63, that’s where we are. Sector 63 is a big area with a lot of offices and industrial units. Our place, Dress Code, is right in the middle of it. The building is a standard one for this part of town. We have a lot of floor space for all the clothes and materials we deal with every day. It’s not the kind of place you’d come to for a fancy tea, but it works for what we do. The desks are usually covered in papers and samples. We try to keep a path clear so people don't trip over boxes. The air conditioning hums all day to keep the heat out. Most of our work involves checking orders and making sure the apparel is ready to go. We have a small area near the back for storage. The street outside can get pretty crowded with cars and bikes during the morning rush. We usually get in before the worst of it. Lunch is usually something quick brought from home or ordered from one of the stalls around the corner. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. There’s always a phone ringing or someone asking about a shipment. It’s a busy environment but we’ve got a rhythm down. The address is easy to find because the sector is laid out in a grid. We just stay focused on the work in front of us until it's time to head out and the day is done.
