We are located in Sector 29 of Noida, which is a fairly quiet residential part of the city. Our building is 1082 in Arun Vihar. It’s a brick structure that looks like most of the houses on this street. We use the ground floor mostly for our apparel work. You can hear the sound of machines running if you stand near the windows. There are rolls of fabric stacked in the corners and thread scattered on the floor. It is a busy environment but not a frantic one. The people who work here have been with us for a long time. We have a small backyard where we sometimes take breaks or dry out some materials. Noida can get very cold in the winter, so we all wear heavy sweaters while we work. In the summer, the ceiling fans are always on high speed. The address is easy to find once you enter Arun Vihar. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. You just walk through the main gate and you are in the middle of our workspace. It’s a practical setup for making clothes. We spend a lot of time checking seams and measuring lengths. The 201301 area has seen a lot of growth, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. It is just a regular house used for making things. We appreciate the space and the neighbors who let us do our work.
