Candour Software Services

If you head over to Sector 61 C-101, you’ll find us. Candour Software Services is basically a small team working out of a space that feels more like a home than an office. We have a few rooms converted into work areas. It’s nice because it isn't so sterile. There are plants near the windows, though half of them need more water than they get. We spend most of our hours writing code and testing things. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we all have to take a break until it comes back, which usually leads to a lot of talking in the small kitchen area. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of employees. It’s just a handful of us who know each other well. We don't do those big corporate team-building events. Our version of that is just ordering pizza when a project finally finishes. The neighborhood is quiet, which is good for concentrating. You don't get the same noise here as you do in the busier sectors. We like the pace. It’s fast when it needs to be, but we also have time to actually think about what we are doing. The walls are a bit plain, and we could probably use some better chairs, but the atmosphere is friendly enough. We just come in, do our bit for the software world, and head out when the day is over.
