Cafe Coffee Day

Our place is located over at Raghubir Nagar A-1. Most of us who work here live just a few streets away, so the commute isn't too bad unless it’s raining hard. The shop is a basic setup where people come in to grab a drink and sit down for a while. We spend a lot of our time cleaning the glass front because it gets dusty from the road outside. It gets really hot in the middle of the day, so we rely on the cooling to keep things comfortable for whoever comes in. We have a counter where we keep the snacks, and we have to keep an eye on the stock so we don't run out of the popular items. Sometimes the fridge makes a loud humming noise, but we’ve mostly gotten used to it by now. People from the nearby blocks stop by throughout the afternoon. It’s a mix of students and folks who just need a break from their day. We don't do anything too complicated. We just make the coffee, toast the sandwiches, and keep the floor swept. It can get a bit crowded on the weekends when more people are out and about. We just try to keep up with the dishes in the back so they don't pile up too high. It’s a steady job and we know the faces of the people who live around here. We just keep things running one day at a time.
