We are set up in Sector-10, specifically at D-165. This part of the sector has a lot of similar buildings, but we’ve been here long enough that people know where to find us. Inside, it’s mostly about the knitting. We have machines that take up a lot of the floor space, and there’s always the sound of needles clicking and motors running. It’s a bit of a maze with all the rolls of fabric and bags of yarn sitting around. We handle everything from the knitting to the final check before things get packed up. It isn't a silent workplace; there is always talking and the noise of the machinery. The lighting is bright so we can see any mistakes in the weave. We aren't a high-end fashion house with a runway; we are a production unit where the work is repetitive but needs a good eye. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just part of being in this area, so we have to manage with the generator until it comes back. Our staff is a mix of people who have been with us for years and some newer faces who are learning the ropes. We just try to get the orders done on time and make sure the fabric is what the customer asked for. It’s straightforward work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday, usually starting early and finishing when the sun goes down.
