Batra Garments

Batra Garments is located at number 2 in Likhiram Market, right near Jai Steel in the Sector-27 Atta area. If you know the market, you know it stays pretty packed most of the time. We are right in the thick of it. The shop has been around for a good bit, and we have seen the area change a lot over the years. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of clothes for different ages. We don't do anything fancy with the displays; we just put the items out where people can see them. Most of our day is spent helping people find the right size or showing them what else we have in the back if the floor stock is low. The noise from the street is constant, but you get used to it after a while. It’s a narrow shop, so when four or five people come in at once, it can feel a bit tight, but we manage. We handle the inventory ourselves, so we know exactly what is on the shelves. It’s a lot of work keeping things tidy, especially when it’s a busy Saturday. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to make sure the locals can find a decent shirt or some trousers without having to travel too far. It’s a regular shop for regular people, and we like it that way.
