Awana Garment

Awana Garment is located right in the middle of Siv Mandir Market on Gejha Road. This is part of Phase Ii. It is a loud place because of the market, but we like being here. There are always people walking by and the smell of food from the nearby stalls. Our shop is just one of many in the market area. We spend most of our mornings unpacking bags and hanging things up. The space isn't very big, so we have to use every inch of the walls for storage. Sometimes it feels like the clothes might fall over if we add one more shirt to the pile. We know the other shop owners around Siv Mandir Market and we often chat while we are opening up for the day. It’s a regular routine for us. We drink tea and check what needs to be fixed or folded. The Gejha Road traffic can be a lot sometimes, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. We stay here at Awana Garment until late most nights because that is when it gets the busiest. It’s not a fancy setup, just a basic shop with plenty of garments to look through. We don't bother with fancy displays. We just put everything out where people can see it. If you find yourself in Phase Ii, you’ll probably see us there near the temple area. It's a good spot and we stay busy.
