Anamika Mahima Exports

Located out at Surajpur Site V, Anamika Mahima Exports sits in the middle of the Export Promotion Industrial Park. It is quite a bit of a drive from the main city, so the mornings start early for everyone. The air is a bit different out here compared to the crowded markets in Delhi. We spend most of our time at E-42 looking over boxes and making sure everything is packed right. It is a large space but it always seems to get filled up with materials and crates before we know it. There is a lot of walking back and forth on the concrete floor every day. The office part is just a small corner where we keep the files and the computer. It is usually quiet except for the sound of tape dispensers and the occasional truck backing up to the loading dock. We have a small group of people here who have been with us for a while. Lunch is usually a quick thing we do together. Sometimes the power fluctuates and we have to wait for the generator to kick in so we can finish the work. It isn’t a glamorous job but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't really have a big sign or anything fancy outside. Most people find us just by the plot number. We just focus on getting the shipments ready and out the gate on time without making much of a fuss.
