You can find Aistra Software over at Satyam Plaza, number 10, in Gurgaon. It’s a pretty easy place to get to, which is nice for us and anyone coming to see us. We’ve been working out of this office for a bit now. It’s a standard setup for a software group. We have our computers, a small kitchen area for making tea, and a lot of whiteboards with scribbles on them. Most of those scribbles are just ideas that didn't work out, but that’s part of the process. We don't pretend to have all the answers right away. We just keep trying until something works. The people here are just regular folks who happen to be good at writing code. We don't have a dress code or fancy titles that don't mean much. We just call each other by our names. Gurgaon can be a bit overwhelming with all the big companies, but we stay small on purpose. It makes it easier to talk to each other and stay on the same page. We focus on software because that’s what we know best. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking, and then a lot of typing. We don't make big claims about changing the world. We just want to build software that doesn't break. That’s our daily goal here at Satyam Plaza. Sometimes we go out for dinner after a long day of debugging. It’s a good way to relax before we do it all over again tomorrow. We aren't corporate types who love meetings. We just want to get the code right and keep our heads down.
