Agarwal & Associates Impex Pvt Ltd is tucked away in C-8, Sec 26, and if you are not looking for it, you might just drive right past the gate. Our focus here is on engineering ply, so the office and the storage area are full of samples and thick stacks of wood. Sector 26 is a relatively quiet area compared to the main markets, but there is still plenty of movement. Our building is a simple two-story structure. The ground floor is where all the heavy lifting happens, and the upstairs is where we keep the computers and the phones. It feels like a lived-in space. There are stacks of catalogs on every flat surface and a few potted plants near the window that someone remembers to water once a week. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on the transport schedules. The engineering ply we handle is heavy, so there is always the sound of things being shifted around downstairs. We do not have a fancy lobby. If a visitor comes, they usually just walk straight into the main room where we are working. We try to keep things organized, but when three different shipments arrive at once, it gets a bit chaotic. We usually have tea brought in from the stall down the street around four o'clock. It is just a group of us trying to keep the orders moving without too much fuss.
