This is our spot at C-20 Site-C in the Surajpur UPSIDC area. Being out here in Greater Noida means we have plenty of space, but it is a long drive for some of the staff who come in from the city. The G B Nagar district is full of these industrial plots, and we are just one of many. We focus on agro materials. Most days involve unloading big sacks and getting them ready for the next shipment. The warehouse floor is concrete and stays cool even when it is baking outside. We have a few desks tucked away in the corner where the phone rings occasionally. Usually, it is just someone asking about a price or checking if a delivery is on its way. We do not have a fancy reception area or anything like that. It is a working site through and through. You can hear the sounds of other factories nearby all day long. Sometimes we have to deal with the local authorities or the industrial board about the roads or the water. It is mostly practical stuff. We have a small crew here. Everyone handles a bit of everything, from moving boxes to writing down the inventory. We have been at this location for a while now and we are used to the rhythm of the industrial site. It is just honest work that needs to be done every day. We make sure the gates are locked tight every evening before we head out.
