Mari Gold Exports Inc.

We are based in D 125, Sector 63. If you have ever been to Sector 63, you know it is just row after row of industrial buildings and small factories. It is not exactly a tourist destination. We do export work here, mostly handling the logistics and checking the quality of goods before they go out. The space we have is divided into a workspace and a small area where we keep the computers and files. It’s pretty basic inside. We have some fluorescent lights that flicker a bit and some old metal chairs. We don't really have a lobby for visitors because we don't get many people just walking in. Most of our work happens over email or on the phone with people in other countries. It can be a bit stressful when a shipment is delayed, and we end up staying late to sort it out. We usually just order some food and sit around the packing table while we wait for news. The staff is small, just five of us, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering phones to taping up boxes. We've stayed in this same unit for a long time and have seen businesses come and go in the buildings around us. We just keep our heads down and keep working. It is a steady job and we have a good rhythm going after all this time. We like the routine.
