Vikram Overseas Ltd

Over in Sector-65 of Noida, near the Mamura area, you’ll find Vikram Overseas Ltd. It’s a busy industrial zone, so there are always trucks moving and people hauling crates around. The air is often thick with the smell of diesel and dust from the nearby construction. Our building is just like the others on the block, a bit grey and very functional. Inside, there’s a lot of space for storage and a small area where we do the paperwork. It’s usually quite loud because of the machinery and the shouting from the loading docks. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting lounge. If you come by, you just walk in and find someone. Most of the staff have been here for a long time, so everyone knows their role without being told. We eat our lunch together in a small corner near the back window that looks out over the street. Sometimes we watch the traffic jams in Mamura while we drink our tea. The fans on the ceiling never seem to stop spinning. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything coming and going, but we manage. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s just a warehouse and office combo where we spend our days making sure the boxes go to the right places. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how it goes.
