Finding our store is pretty easy, we’re on the first floor of D-35 in Sector 10. The setup is quite straightforward. Rows of shelves hold the inventory, mostly items required by the local mills and factories to keep their machinery moving. It gets a little dusty because of all the boxes and metal parts, but we have a system for knowing where everything sits. You won't see any plush carpets or bright lighting here. This is a workspace for people who need parts and don't want to waste time. A lot of our day goes into checking orders and making sure the stock levels are right. Sometimes the building lift is slow, so we just carry the smaller crates up the stairs ourselves to get things moving. It keeps us in shape. Having been in this sector for years, we know the other business owners on the block. We often catch up on local news over lunch. The work doesn't have much glamour to it. It involves counting, labeling, and shifting heavy items around the floor. But we like the routine. We don't use big words to describe the business. We just run a mill store and try to keep the basics on the shelf. If you come by, just head up the stairs. Someone is usually there from early morning until late.
