Thomson Press (India Today Group)

We are over at 185 Aravali Apartment in Alaknanda, New Delhi. It’s a well-known spot in this part of South Delhi. Being part of the India Today Group means we have a lot of history behind us, but this specific office feels more like a local outpost. It’s located inside a residential complex, so it’s got a very different vibe from a typical skyscraper office. We deal with a lot of the press and publishing side of things. There are always stacks of magazines or proofs lying around on the tables. The rooms are a bit cramped because we have so much equipment and paper. It’s a busy place, and the phones are almost always ringing with someone asking about a deadline or a print run. We’ve been in Alaknanda for quite some time now. The staff here is a mix of people who have been with the company for decades and some newer faces. We usually grab lunch from the local shops in the Alaknanda market nearby. It’s a community feel, even though we are part of a larger organization. We don't put on any airs here. We just show up, manage the press schedules, and make sure everything is moving along as it should. The apartment setting makes it feel a bit more personal than a cold office building. It’s just how we’ve always operated in this branch, and it works for the kind of work we do.
