We are based in Velpoor at the 7-99/3 address. Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy Tours & Travels is basically just a local transport service we started to help people travel out of the village. Velpoor isn't huge, so everyone pretty much knows each other around here. We have a few cars that we use for rentals and trips to the city or nearby temples. People often call us when they have a family function or need to go to the hospital in a bigger town. It is a simple business. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our phone number and the shop front. Sometimes it's a bit quiet, but then the festival season comes and we are on the road every single day. The drivers are local guys who know the roads around here very well. We make sure the cars are in decent shape before any long trip starts. It’s important because no one wants to get stuck on the highway in the middle of the night. We also do some local sightseeing if someone is visiting from outside. It’s honest work and it pays our bills. We don't promise anything we can't do. If the car is busy, we just tell you. We appreciate the people in Velpoor for always coming to us first. It’s been a few years now and we are still here, parked at our spot, waiting for the next booking to come in.
