Shashank Degree College

Our college is really easy to find because we are located right opposite the bus stand here in Banswada. If you’ve ever had to wait for a bus in the 503001 area, you have probably seen the Shashank Degree College sign once or twice. It is a busy spot because of all the bus traffic, but that makes it very convenient for the students who come in from the outskirts of town. They can just hop off their bus and walk right across the road to get into their classes. We offer degree courses for the local youth who want to stay close to home instead of moving away to the bigger cities. The building has a few floors, and we spend a lot of time walking up and down those stairs to get to different lecture rooms. It can be a bit noisy with the engines constantly starting and stopping across the street, but you honestly get used to it after working here for a while. We have a small office where we handle all the paperwork and student admissions. It gets very crowded when a new semester is starting up. The teachers are usually around, chatting with students in the hallways or sitting in the library. We don't have any of those fancy lounges or high-tech setups you see in the city. It’s just a place to study and earn a degree. Most of our students are hard-working and just want to finish their studies. We've been here for years now.
