S V Degree College is located over in Nizamabad, specifically at the 503001 area. Nizamabad is one of those places that gets incredibly hot, so the college building is where we spend most of our time trying to keep cool. The structure is simple and has been around for some time. We have a lot of students who travel in from the smaller towns nearby. You’ll see them gathered under the trees in the courtyard during lunch, just talking and sharing food. The office stays busy with the usual paperwork, and we try to keep things organized even when it gets hectic during the exam season. The benches in the classrooms are sturdy and the walls are mostly covered with old notices and charts. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. It’s just a place where people come to learn and we come to work. Outside the gates, the town of Nizamabad is always moving, with bikes and autos zipping past. The local tea stall is where most of the staff ends up at least once a day. It’s a very grounded atmosphere here. We don't use big words or pretend to be something we’re not. It’s just a degree college where the days are long and the work is steady. We know the families around here and they know us, which makes the whole place feel a bit more like a community than just a building.
