Rukumini Earth Movers

Our operations are based out of H No - 4-29 in Gandivet. Being in the Gandhari area of Nizamabad, we spend most of our time out on different sites rather than sitting in the office. Rukumini Earth Movers is basically about heavy machinery and a lot of dirt. We have the big equipment that does the digging and the heavy lifting that human hands just can’t manage. If you see us, we are usually covered in the red dust from the local ground or trying to wipe grease off a hydraulic hose. These machines are tough but they need constant looking after. We spend many mornings just checking the oil and making sure the tracks are clear before heading out. Nizamabad is growing and there is always some ground that needs leveling or a trench that needs to be dug for pipes. The work is slow and loud, and you have to be careful every second you’re behind the controls. We don’t have a lot of time for talk when the engines are running. When the sun goes down, we bring the machines back or lock them up at the site and head home to Gandivet. It’s a long day every day, and the weather really dictates how much we can get done. If it rains, the mud makes everything twice as hard, but that’s just the nature of working with the earth. We just focus on getting the job finished so we can move to the next one.
