We are located in Ananda Bazar, right near where Khagendra stays. It’s a quiet village area and most of us here are just focused on the land and what it grows. Our group started because a few of us producers realized it was better to work together than try to handle everything alone. There isn't anything flashy about our setup. We have a small space where we meet up and talk about the crops or the weather. Sometimes the rain helps us out and other times it makes things a bit difficult, but that's just how it goes in this part of the world. People stop by the office in the village to ask about seeds or how the harvest is looking for the season. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that, just a few local folks who know the soil around here. Most days are spent checking on the fields or making sure the paperwork for the federation is in some kind of order. It gets busy during the planting times, and then things slow down a bit. We just try to keep things moving along for the members. If you come down the road in Ananda Bazar, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s just a practical business run by people who live right here in the community. We don't pretend to be more than that.
