We are out in the Sakrura area, and you can usually find us around Nirmal Kumar’s place. This is a rural part of the world where farming is the main thing everyone does. Our company is basically a collection of us neighbors who wanted to have a collective voice. We spend most of our time out in the fields, so the office work is something we fit in when the sun goes down or when it’s raining too hard to be outside. There’s no fancy furniture or polished floors here. Just some wooden chairs and a lot of talk about soil quality and rain. We handle the local crops that grow well in this soil and we try to make sure everyone in our group gets a fair shake. It’s a quiet life in Sakrura, and we like it that way. We don't have any big goals of changing the world; we just want to make sure our local farming community stays strong. Sometimes we struggle with getting the right equipment or dealing with pests, but that’s just part of the job. Being a producer company helps us buy things in bulk and share the costs, which makes a big difference for the smaller families. It’s just us, working the land and trying to stay ahead of the bills. There’s nothing more to it than that.
