Zakir Husain School

You can find Zakir Husain School on the Main Road in the Jaffrabad area. We are situated right opposite the Idgah, which makes us very easy to locate for anyone in New Seelampur or Shahdara. The school has been part of this neighborhood for quite a long time. The building itself is an older structure, but it’s sturdy and has plenty of rooms for all our students. It’s a very busy part of town, so there is always the sound of rickshaws and cars outside. We have a large number of kids coming in every day from the nearby streets. The classrooms are filled with old wooden desks and blackboards that have been used for years. Our staff consists of people who know the area well and understand the needs of the families here. We don't have fancy labs or a big library, but we have enough books and materials to teach the classes properly. The morning assembly happens in the central courtyard, which is also where the kids play during their break. It gets a bit crowded, but everyone manages to find a spot. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids show up on time. It is a no-nonsense kind of place where the main goal is just to provide a space for learning in the middle of a hectic city.
