Our office is located in Delhi, in the 110007 zip code area. It’s a busy part of the city, which is why we chose it. We spend most of our time talking to students and their parents about where they might go for college next. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, to be honest. The office isn't very big; it’s mostly just desks piled high with brochures and forms from various institutions. We started this because we saw how many people were confused by all the different applications and deadlines. It can be a real headache for families. We aren't some big corporate firm with glass walls and suits. It’s usually just a few of us sitting around in shirtsleeves, trying to figure out which forms need to be sent where. Delhi is always noisy outside, so we have the windows shut most of the time to keep the sound of traffic down. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to wait around to upload files, which is frustrating for everyone involved. We just try to be helpful and give people the straight story on what their options are. People come in, sit on the mismatched chairs we have in the waiting area, and we have a chat. It’s a straightforward business. We just do the work and try to keep things moving along for the kids who are finished with school and looking for the next step.
