We set up our place in Raj Nagar Part 2, right in the Palam Colony area. The house number is D 183. It is a pretty standard building in a busy part of town. We have converted a couple of the rooms into classrooms with some basic wooden benches and desks. It isn't a fancy private school with a playground or anything. We just have some whiteboards and a lot of markers that always seem to run out of ink at the wrong time. Students from the nearby houses come over after their regular school hours are finished. It gets pretty crowded in the hallways between the different batches. We have a small area near the entrance where parents wait if they come early to pick up their kids. The fans make a lot of noise, but they keep the air moving during the hot months. We don't have any big posters or fancy decorations on the walls. It’s just a place for studying and getting through the syllabus. Sometimes we have to move the desks around to make room for more people during the exam season. We keep a stack of old notebooks in the corner for anyone who forgets theirs. It’s a simple operation, really. We just open the doors in the afternoon and stay until the last student leaves in the evening. It’s been our routine for quite a few years in this neighborhood and the local people know us.
