Verve Collection

Verve Collection is sitting at C-55 Preet Vihar along Vikas Marg. It is a spot that gets a fair amount of foot traffic, which is nice for a business like ours. We mostly deal in clothes and different types of fabric that people around here seem to like. The shop is not massive, so we have to be careful about how we stack things so people can actually walk around without bumping into stuff. We have been here for a couple of years now, and we have gotten to know the regular faces who pass by on their way to work or the market. It is a family-run kind of thing, so you will usually see one of us behind the counter or folding things in the back. We do not use any fancy systems, just a simple way of doing things that works for us. Vikas Marg can be quite loud with all the cars and buses, but inside the shop, it is usually a bit more relaxed. We try to keep things stocked with whatever is in season, but we do not follow all those fast-moving trends. We just pick stuff that looks okay and lasts a bit. There is no big philosophy behind it; we just wanted to have a shop in our own neighborhood. Sometimes the lights flicker when the weather gets bad, but we just keep the doors open and wait for customers. It is a simple life.
