Authentic Travels

Our office is located at Bhikaji Cama Place, right in room 505 A. If you know this area, you know how busy it gets with all the office buildings and people rushing around at lunch. We are up on the fifth floor. The elevator is sometimes slow, so some of us just take the stairs if we aren't carrying too much. Inside the office, it is mostly just a bunch of maps pinned to the walls and stacks of papers that need filing. We try to keep it organized, but when things get busy, the desks get messy fast. There is a window that looks out over the parking lot and some of the bigger buildings nearby. It gets a lot of sun in the afternoon, which makes the room pretty warm. We have a small kettle for making coffee and there is usually a pack of biscuits open somewhere. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at the keyboards. It’s not a fancy place, just a working office where we try to keep track of everything. Sometimes the noise from the hallway is a bit much, but that is just part of being in a big commercial complex. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and it feels like a second home, even with the clutter and the constant ringing of the phones.
