Rajni Collection

We are based at 133 B-9 in Kishangarh, which is a part of the Vasant Kunj area. Rajni Collection is a small local business that has been here for a while. We mostly handle everyday clothes and some of the specialty items that the local people often ask us for. Kishangarh is a very crowded neighborhood with a lot of narrow lanes and people moving about, so finding the shop for the first time can be a little bit tricky. We are right in the middle of all that activity. The shop itself is basically just one big room that is usually filled up with boxes and display racks. We don't have any of that fancy air conditioning, so we just use a couple of old ceiling fans to keep the air moving around. My brother and I run the whole operation ourselves. We get a lot of students and local workers coming in because they know our prices are fair for what they get. We don't try to act like one of those big stores you see in the malls. We know most of our customers by their first names and we usually remember what they like. It is a very hands-on type of job for us. We spend our mornings unloading heavy bags of stock and our afternoons helping whoever comes through the door. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just wait it out on the front step.
