As Exports

Down in Vasant Kunj at Pocket C, we have our office for As Exports. It’s in building number 304. It’s a bit of a maze back here in Sector A if you aren't used to the layout. We’ve got a few rooms set up for the business. There’s always stuff piled up near the door waiting to be moved. We spend most of our mornings answering emails and looking at logistics schedules. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going all day. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise when the crates are being moved around. It’s a quiet life here. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything. Just the address. Most of the people we work with have been dealing with us for a long time. They know where to find us. Sometimes the courier guys get lost near the park, so we have to go out and wave them down. It’s just how it is. We do our own filing and manage the exports from this small space. It’s tight but it works for what we need. Lunch is usually brought from home and we eat together in the small kitchen area. It’s not corporate. It’s just us working through the daily list of things to send out. Vasant Kunj is a nice area to be based in for a small business like ours.
