A & Z Exports

A & Z Exports is located on the ground floor at number 544/14, right opposite the A. B. Block in Zakir Nagar. If you know the area, you know how tight the lanes can get with all the rickshaws and people walking by. Being on the ground floor means we see everything that happens on the street, and it can be quite noisy during the peak hours. We have been in this spot for a while now, and the neighbors all know us. Inside, the walls are mostly covered with shelves for samples and old files that we haven't found a better place for yet. We deal with exports, so there is always a bit of stress about deadlines and making sure the packing is done right before the transport arrives. The space isn't huge, but we have enough room for the packing tables and a small corner for the computer work. Usually, there’s a lot of shouting from the street and the smell of food from the nearby stalls coming through the door. We don't really bother with making the place look like a showroom because that's not what we do. It’s a working office where people are constantly busy with tape and cardboard. On rainy days, the water pools up a bit near the entrance, and we have to be careful with the boxes. It is just a normal, busy day for us here.
