We handle exports mostly, which means a lot of checking documents and making sure everything is legal and ready to go. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing, but we’ve done it so many times now that it’s just second nature to us. We aren't a big outfit with a huge budget for advertising. We rely on people knowing who we are and what we do through word of mouth. It’s a bit of a gritty area, but it has a lot of character and history. We like being part of the local community here. Every day brings a different challenge, whether it’s a shipping delay or a change in regulations. We just take it as it comes and try to stay on top of things. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our business and we take it seriously. We plan on staying on Leather Street for a long time.
