Vafa Fresh Vegetables & Fruits Exporters Association

Our group is called Vafa Fresh Vegetables & Fruits Exporters Association. We are based at H.No. 18, Diwan Estate, Bhagwati Garden, which is in the Uttam Nagar area of New Delhi. The pin code is 110059. It’s a bit tucked away, but we like it that way. We spend our time working with exporters and making sure everything is moving as it should. Uttam Nagar is a very lively place, always full of people and markets. Our office is in a residential-style building, which makes it feel more personal. It's not a cold, glass office. We have desks pushed together and files everywhere. Most of our day is spent talking to different members and sorting out export papers. It can get a bit chaotic when several things happen at once. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the business well. We’ve been at Diwan Estate for a while. The walk from the main road isn't too long. We deal with fresh produce logistics mostly. It is practical work. We don't use big words or try to sound more important than we are. We are just an association trying to help people get their fruits and vegetables out to other places. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls, really. That is just how the export business goes in this part of town. We just try to help out where we can.
