We've been at 488 West Parmanand Colony for a long time now. Most people know the spot because we’re right near Tagore Park. It’s a busy area in Delhi, especially in the mornings when the trucks arrive. Our work is pretty simple; we deal with tomatoes. Every morning, the crates show up and we have to get them sorted before the heat really kicks in. It’s not fancy work. You spend a lot of time on your feet, checking for bruises and making sure everything is loaded right. Sometimes the traffic around Kingsway Camp makes things late, which is a headache, but you get used to it. The shop isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we can move boxes and talk to the regulars who come by. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. Just a desk, a couple of chairs, and plenty of floor space for the produce. People around here know Krishan Murari by name. We just focus on getting the crates out to where they need to go. It’s loud, sometimes it’s messy, and in the summer, it gets incredibly hot under the roof. But we like the routine. It keeps us busy and we know the neighbors. If you’re looking for the place, just head toward the park and look for the crates stacked up. We’re usually there from early morning until the sun goes down.
