V P Singh Study Circle

The study circle is located over at Safdarjung Enclave, B-4/ 170. It is a quiet enough spot considering how busy Delhi can get. We have set up a space where people can come to focus on their books and prepare for their upcoming exams. There are plenty of tables and chairs arranged in rows, and we try to keep the lighting good so no one gets a headache. It is not a big institute with glass walls; it is more like a shared room where the atmosphere is serious. You will see students hunched over their notes from early morning until late in the evening. We keep a stack of old question papers in the cupboard for anyone to use. The floors are a bit worn from all the foot traffic over the months. Sometimes the sounds of the street outside drift in, but mostly it is just the sound of pages turning. We do not have a fancy registration desk or a lobby. People just come in, find their spot, and get to work. It is a practical environment for someone who needs to get away from the distractions of home. We have a small area where people can take a break and stretch their legs for a few minutes before going back to their studies. It has been this way since we started, and we just keep the doors open for anyone who needs the space.
