We have been at No. 18 on the ground floor in Sant Nagar for a while now. Most people around East of Kailash probably know the building since it is a busy spot. Every morning we pull up the metal shutters and get things ready for the day. Utsav Fashion Clothing Private Limited isn't a huge operation, just a handful of us working here. We handle a lot of different clothes and sometimes the boxes pile up near the entrance. It gets a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives from the suppliers. We try to keep things organized, but on busy afternoons, it is a bit of a scramble. The light in the shop isn't the brightest, but we make do. People stop by to ask questions or just look at what came in. It's usually noisy outside with the traffic, yet we’ve gotten used to it. We spend most of our time checking tags or folding items that got messed up. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break together. It is just a regular workplace where we try to get the orders sorted out correctly. The floors need a sweep more often than they get one, especially during the monsoon when everyone brings in mud. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It's just a practical space where the work happens. If you walk past Sant Nagar, you will see our sign near the ground floor entrance.
