Golden Kreations

You have to go up to the second floor at Gali No.12 to find Golden Kreations. We are right there on the road behind Ashok Chena Bhandar. Vishwas Nagar is a maze, but we’ve made our home here. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes. We make things. It’s a small workshop, really. There’s the sound of machines or tools going most of the day. We don't have a big sign outside, just enough so people can find the stairs. It’s a bit of a climb, but we don't mind. We've got a small team. Everyone knows their job. We don’t spend money on fancy marketing or anything like that. We’d rather just focus on what we’re making. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in. The lighting isn't the best, but we make it work. We’ve been at 460-A/3 for a few years now. The neighbors are mostly other small workshops. We share the same problems like power cuts or the narrow streets. It’s a community. We drink our chai and talk about the work. It’s not a glamorous life, but we take pride in the things that leave our doors. We just do our best with what we have. It’s a humble place but it’s ours and we like it. We hope to stay here for a long time making things.
