University Grants Commission

This particular office for the University Grants Commission is located at E-54/A, Gali Number 3, in Subhash Vihar, North Ghonda. It is a bit different from the main offices people usually think of when they hear the name. We are right here in the middle of a residential street in Delhi 53. The building is a typical narrow Delhi structure, and we are tucked inside on one of the floors. Most of our day involves dealing with papers, stamps, and people coming in with questions about grants or university stuff. It is not a quiet place because North Ghonda is always buzzing with people and motorbikes. We have a lot of files stacked up on the shelves, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of room. The fans hum all day long to keep the air moving. We do not have a lot of fancy furniture, just the basic stuff that has been here for years. We handle the paperwork as it comes in, and we try to help the students or teachers who find their way to this branch. It is a very functional spot. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time talking to visitors across the counter. It isn't a polished corporate environment. It is just a busy local office doing its part with all the forms and registrations that need to happen. We just keep the files moving and the stamps busy every single day.
