Udayan Padamnabham

I am Udayan Padamnabham and you can find me at B-103 in West Jyoti Nagar. This is part of the Shahdara area in Delhi, which is quite a bustling part of the city to be in. It is a residential neighborhood mostly, so you get the sound of kids playing outside and the vegetable sellers going by with their carts. I’ve set up my workspace right here in the house because it’s easier than commuting through the Delhi traffic every single day. The building is older but it’s sturdy and it does the job for what I need. I don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting people at the door. If you come by, you’ll probably just see me at my desk with a cup of tea nearby. I like the independence of working this way. It means I can set my own pace, even if that means working a bit late into the evening when the street finally gets quiet. Dealing with things in Shahdara has its challenges, like the dusty air in the summer or the cold winters, but it’s home. I try to keep things straightforward and honest. There isn't any hidden agenda or complicated marketing plan behind what I do. It is just Udayan working from a room in Delhi, trying to stay on top of the chores and the work that piles up. Some days are slower than others, but that’s just how life goes when you run your own show.
