Tutions

The place we call Tutions is located at 16/1662 in Govindpuri, which is part of the Kalkajee area in New Delhi. The pin code is 110019. If you’ve ever been to Govindpuri, you know it’s a very tight-knit and crowded place. Our space is basically a few rooms where students come to sit and study. It’s not a fancy school or anything like that. We have some wooden desks, a lot of whiteboards, and stacks of notebooks everywhere. The noise from the street is almost always there, but the kids seem used to it. We spend our afternoons and evenings here, mostly going over math problems or grammar. It gets pretty loud when a bunch of students arrive at once, all talking and laughing before they settle down. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the neighbors sometimes, and we probably bother them a bit too. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything; most people find us because they live just a few blocks away and saw our sign. It’s a very practical kind of place. We focus on the books and the lessons, and we try to keep the fans running so it doesn't get too hot in the small rooms. It’s hard work, but seeing the students actually get a hang of a difficult subject makes it worth it. We just stay here in our corner of Kalkajee and do what we do every day.
